A deep V opens between them at the neckline, a horizontal band of flat knitting marks the waist and breaks the vertical ribs, and below it the same rib continues into a short skirt. The sleeves are long and cut narrow to the wrist.

It is the closest a knitted dress gets to being dressed up, and it takes about four seconds to put on.
